Beauty find alert! I received these #complimentary Josie Maran #arganoil products to try out. I don’t typically put oils on my face because, you know, I don’t like having oily skin. But I am an #arganlover and use it religiously to seal in moisture for my curls. And since hair is technically skin and argan oil is on the lighter side of most oils, I figured why not give it a try. Here’s what I got: • The Pineapple Enzyme Pore Clearing Cleanser • The whipped Argan Oil Face Butter (unscented) • The whipped Argan Oil Body Butter (unscented) • 100% Pure Argan Oil The system is pretty simple. And ya’ll know me, if it isn’t simple, I’m not doing it. You start out with the pineapple enzyme pore clearing cleanser (which is lightly scented and glides on like a gel), then apply the whipped argan oil face butter (which is surprisingly light for a butter and…not oily) and finish up with 1 - 3 drops of the actual argan oil, depending on your skin type. Use less if you're on the oilier side. What I loved the most after I was done with this 3 step process was how it changed my makeup. I love a good matte powder for a light, barely there look, but my skin often looks dry after a while. With the above process, my matte makeup leveled up 10-fold. My powder glided on smoother and the dewiness of the oil came through for a smooth finish that added just a touch of luminance to my skin. I also love the whipped body butter, which is rich and creamy and really only needs one application to last all day.
